Overview

FuelLogbook respects your privacy. This policy explains how the FuelLogbook iOS application handles information when you use its features.

Data stored in the app

Information you enter into FuelLogbook—such as fuel logs, maintenance records, expenses, vehicles and related notes—is used only to provide the app's functionality.

• FuelLogbook does not require an account.
• Your vehicle records are stored as part of the app's data.
• The data is not used for advertising or tracking across apps or websites.

Optional iCloud synchronization

If you choose to enable iCloud synchronization, app data may be stored in your personal iCloud account so it can remain available across your devices. iCloud processing is provided by Apple and is subject to your Apple account and device settings.

Location data and GPS Trip Log

Location data is used only when you use the GPS trip logging feature. FuelLogbook uses your device's location to record the route, distance, speed and related trip information.

• Location may also be processed in the background while an active trip is being recorded.
• Recorded trip and location data is stored as part of your app data.
• FuelLogbook does not use GPS location for advertising or to track you across apps or websites.

Analytics, diagnostics and advertising

If analytics or advertising is enabled, technical identifiers, usage information, crash data and performance data may be processed by third-party services according to Apple platform rules, applicable privacy requirements and your device settings. This information is not linked to your identity.

Data sharing and sale

FuelLogbook does not sell personal data to third parties. Technical information may be processed only where needed for enabled analytics, diagnostics or advertising services, as described above.

Your choices and control

You can control location access, iCloud synchronization and relevant analytics or advertising choices through FuelLogbook, iOS and your device settings. Disabling a permission may limit the feature that depends on it.
